Got news republic right now, but I'm fedup with wasting bandwidth on 'vietnamese summer roll' recipes showing in top stories and irrelevant stuff reported as breaking news.

Is there a good news provider where the stories are better categorized and if possible rated by their strategic relevance?

Just downloaded it. Not as editable as Pulse. However, I like the layout and I will use it for the tech stuff. That section alone is very very detailed.

Good to hear you like the layout and the technical topics. Have no experience with Pulse and will try it out too

just tried news 360. I tried to like and dislike stories, but I still got tiger woods and some obscure florida killer turn up in top stories.

and maybe I missed something, but news 360 doesn't have any layout at all? just one story per page, no summary, no lists.

off to try pulse!

associated press doesn't even have something to search the news
