Android App with Bangkok Bus routes

Featured Replies

I found that Google Maps added Bangkok bus routes now, but they only seem to have about half the routes out where I live (Ramkhamheang).

I searched the App store, but don't see any other Apps for Bangkok busses.

Any ideas for good Android Apps with more Bangkok Bus Routes?

Any advice or experience using the google maps is also appreciated.

Thanks,

I would guess there isn't any app in English, because almost nobody is interested in it - I rarely encounter any other Farang face on the Buses here on the eastern outskirts where I live.

If you can read some Thai (and of course you definitely should if you live here), get yourself the latest edition of the "Bus Routes&Map" by bangkokguide.co.th. They used to have an english edition too (which I still own, edition 5), but it is a little outdated now (came out 5-6 years ago already), oibviosuly it was not profitbale to produce an English language Bus-map. but the latest edition in THAI has been published just a few months ago. it is dead-cheap (the English edition was 50 THB), that is why it was always hard to come by, as the bookstores were not eager to sell such a cheap product. They preferred to sell several other more expensive (but far inferior) products that were and still are available in English. SE-ED might be your best bet to buy the Thai edition, me thinks
