I popped into my local (and a few other) Big Cs last month to pick a bottle of Redex, yet i couldn't find any, even at others stores or petrol stations.
What I did find however was the Thai versions........ Does anyone have any experience using the Thai manufactured equivalents?

I'll have a look in our big c in pattaya and let you know.

Last time I looked it was 1250 for a litre and 60 for a single shot.

do these pour in injector cleaners really work?

Theres a shop around the corner that sells 3M injector cleaner, but it involves taking off the gas tank to access the injector fitting, to insert a nozzle into the system to clean it out.

Redex works........ another way is to pour the lt in to a low petrol tank...[best to take some petrol with you in a can if not petrol station close]..... do find a quiet place and a good road, black smoke will pour out and a lot, you will see nothing behind you but smoke, as it cleans it turns white and starts to clear time to add more petrol,,

Anyone with aspirations for closet alchemy can make SeaFoam-like stuff. 4 parts diesel, 2 parts Naptha (White benzine in Thailand) and 1 part 91% Isopropyl alcohol ( from school supply shop near Ekamai bus terminal if you live in Bangkok)

It is the Naptha and the alcohol that do the work. The diesel is a cheap substitute for light oil. Products like Redex also contains Isoprpyl alcohol.

RedEx do two products for gasoline engines, One is an olefin solvent upper cylinder lubricant, the other an injector cleaner mainly isopropanol and oxygenates.

A tank full of Chevron gasoline with techron every now and then may achieve the same result?
