Beer shortage

This is serious. Never mind no power or no water.........

Yesterday I went to Big C and Tesco - No Leo and no Archa!

Went to Makro this morning and I bought the last two boxes of Archa and the last box of Leo.

I suppose that they were all bought up before the price rise last week!

Let's hope that the shelves are replenished soon.

Yes, nobody wants to sell to the old price, before the tax hike.
Managed to get a box of Singha today, but had to pay the new price 820 baht, a raise with 5 baht per bottle.

I am good for a week or two thanks (had some stock at home already) but that is a good idea if we don't get a delivery next week!

Luckily the Archa was still 417 for 12 large bottles!

... maybe, but they did, which is why there is now a beer shortage.

Poor sucker indeed! . You didn't beat the rush.

....and neither did I. All the supermarkets I tried in Ubon on Sunday were also stocked out of most beers except Cheers. I'm a bulk beer buyer (for the hash house harriers - a drinking club with a running problem).

Archa and Tiger. A good friend found some Leo at Makro today and picked up a couple of cases for me.

I'm OK for Singha and I don't like the taste of Heineken

You didn't get ripped off Rooo...you would have had to pay that price anyway.

A friend of mine runs a small bar down the road from me and he went to Samphet to restock and they told him no more supplies would arrive until the new tax hike was approved
