Surin Transport Office prepared to auction beautiful license numbers

The Surin Transport Office has prepared auctioning of "beautiful" license numbers where the proceeds will go towards rallying for road safety.

The Transport office in Surin Province plans to hold the auctioning for 301 license plates on May 3rd and 4th, between 9 in the morning and 4.30 in the afternoon. The event will take place at Thongtharin (ทองธารินทร์) Hotel in the province.

License numbers will be divided into four groups. The numbers that will be auctioned off on this occasion are of the Gor-Khor (กค.) alphabets. Their plates will also be of a special kind, with graphics resembling the main attractions of the province.

All proceeds from the auction will be transferred into a foundation for road safety. Interested people may contact the Surin Transport Office at 0-4451 4102 for pre-registration.
