September 24, 201312 yr I read most of the topics but don't seem to find an answer so here is my question 1 my wife has a Thai passport but she is also an PR in Australia I know Australian citizen don't need a visa to go to Europe (I hope) but what about people who are on a PR visa? Do they need a visa? Now my wife will become citizen of Australia but we don't know when So if she is only PR and on a Thai passport will she need the Schengen Visa? Any answers appreciated
September 24, 201312 yr Yes. It is a person's nationality which determines whether or not they require a visa, not where they live. Australian citizens can spend up to 90 days out of any 180 days in the Schengen area without a visa. Advice from the Australian government.

September 24, 201312 yr For Switzerland you need a visa, even when Australian. We need a visa too, when we want to spend money in your country. That applies also for all E.U. countries.
September 24, 201312 yr See the link posted by 7by7. The information on the linked page says that "generally" no visa is needed for visits of limited duration as indicated on that page. It you have a link to a web page listing exceptions to that general rule, it will no doubt be appreciated. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place
