I'm relatively new, surfed Thaivisa for about 13 years on and off but only joined a year or so ago. Got fed up reading and wanted to take part. Now I find the threads don't last as long. People get bored of one story and jump onto the next way too quickly now. I like the technology now and this new Thaivisa app. It has made life 10 times easier. Noobs suck but that isn't always the case as some need encouragement before they swallow.

I've a friend here, Nicky, who's as mad as they come, but of course a lovely lady with a heart of gold. She runs a resort down in Kep called Gibbon Valley and keeps 2 Gibbons, loosely around the property. 
When all rules are followed (Empty pockets, no jewellery, no sudden movements, etc..) , they are reasonably sweet critters. 
So when my gf jumped at one of them for going through her bag, she got bitten and nearly had to have her middle finger amputated... 
Saved the finger in the end, so she's still giving me the finger every time I laugh about it...
