Raising Koi (Carp) Fish in Chiang Mai

Featured Replies

My little fishpond can no longer support my 12 koi fish. Fish are now large (12 inches long). Various colors.

Ready to give these fish away to interested TV Forum member(s).

We're in Hang Dong area, near Night Safari. You can PM me for directions.

Bring your own plastic tub and net - you'll need to catch yourself!

HI MEKONG BOB, WOULD THEY SURVIVE IN THE LAKE?

Red Crab -

I'm just an amateur on such matters, but I see no reason why these fresh water fish would not survive in a lake

This lake doesn't have any big predator fish, I hope! Snakehead fish (ปลาช่อน "pla-chon")?

NO LARGE FISH IN MY LAKE I AM AWARE OF. YES, I WOULD THINK IT SHOULD BE OK TOO, NATURAL ENVIRONMENT AND ALL... I SHALL CONTACT YOU AGAIN IN SECOND HALF OF DECEMBER (BACK IN CM), IF YOU STILL HAVE THEM THAN WOULD LOVE TO GIVE THEM A NEW HOME, SORRY : LAKE

CHEERS

Hi Bob, have sent you a PM

regards Worgeordie

I could probably take a couple.. Like 3 or 4. My pond isn't very large either, but it does need some more fish..

All my fish have been scooped off and carried away to their new home. Thanks for the offers and interest.

Now it's time to re-stock my little fishpond with smaller fish and re-start my 3-year program.
