Was at true today was 1 bh per min to call U.S. with the 00600 code now its 3 bht per min using 0061 then area code made me thinking what is the inflation rate per yr here? Any thoughts still cheap to call but wonder what per ent inflation is here. I love Thailand

It was 60 baht a minute to the UK when I first arrived and 40 baht to the £, so that would make it minus 5000% compounded.

I think Thailand's alright.

Use Skype.

I'm still using 00600 but that is for calls to UK at 1bht pm.

Is that not available for US now?

Yes I read that post did not answer my question does any body know what the per cent rate of inflation per year in Chiamg Mai ?

There is no specific rate of inflation. It keeps changing according to several factors.

As mentioned by A1 no true rate may be known ahead of time.

But as to your statement about Truemove Intersim calling rates.

No that is not correct. It has always been that way. The 006 prefix

is used for what they term their 1st class quality calls.

Although most like myself are more than satisfied with the 1 baht a minute 00600

prefix service. The quality is always fine with it in my experience

Don't believe what the Government has to say about inflation,

as they have said all the price rises are just in your mind,OK

Well, the CPI numbers for the past 5 years have been around 2.5-4% in Thailand. Chiang Mai, no idea.
