Understanding blood pressure.
Well the salt intake thing is being challenged now by a lot of new research, yes too much salt is not good but many years ago a lot of people ate a lot of salt because the food was preserved in it but hart disease was rare. Salt usually comes in combination with a lot of sugar and refined (and in the US so called enriched flour) flour. -

Tommy Robinson.
But he hasn't done/achieved any of that.......don't be so naive as to think that him, shouting into a megaphone to a load of braindead idiots, has had any impact on prosecutions, illegal immigration or deportations. -

Understanding blood pressure.
IMO high blood pressure is frequently misdiagnosed by doctors, who fail to take account of white coat syndrome. Their automatic reaction is to prescribe anti-hypertensive drugs. IIRC I was prescribed 80 mg of CoDiovan. It makes sense my heart has less work to do if it is pumping blood around a body which weighs 76 kg, rather than 92 kg. The heart is a muscle. Regular exercise strengthens that muscle, and also lowers the resting pulse rate. I.e. the heart has less work to do. Measurement in a break from this post : BP 125/62, pulse 61 bpm. 5 years ago, I was taking 4-5 meds regularly. Only one now. I have developed the philosophy a sound diet and regular exercise is preferable and healthier than treating with daily meds, every one of which places an unseen burden on the kidneys and liver- 1
