It was supposed to be postponed out of respect to the passing of the Supreme Patriarch. That does not seem to be the case & events as per normal.

I know Chaweng lake is a busy area for it.

The locals even seem to be a bit tight lipped, about what's going on and where...this year... .... so come on Mole!

If the rain tonight is anything like last night's storm then I'll be able to float my Kratong down the hill where I live.

In previous year's Chaweng lake has been the place to go and for a few years it was Big Buddha (until they started charging an entrance fee).

There used to be a big event @ Big Buddha, don't know it's on any more.

Many years ago a friend wanted to go there, so he asked the taxi driver to take him to "Aroi Katoy".

Lamai beach stretch was happening last year but maybe outside in the street might be easier the way the weather's going
