I was wondering if anyone out there might know of a decent car rental firm in Bangkok? I am looking to hire a car for 48 hours next week and am looking for advice.

Tons of threads on renting.

But for 48 hrs, all you need is to find a cab and negotiate.

Should get 24 hrs for 2-3000THB I would think.

Bkk to Ptty is 1200THB for 2 hrs for reference.

Ptty to Bkk is 800THB ..... no joke.

Are you familiar with Bangkok's roads and drivers? If not you should let someone else do the driving.
