Local Drunk
And then......on another Thread this morning, "Farang door mats".......... some wise people told me not to be afraid to confront Thais if I am offended! That advice will get you killed faster than you can say, "<deleted>?" Curiously that thread Costas2008 was referring, is running at General forum at TV right now. A poster there is calling foreigners to stand up, confront a local wrong doer, and not be door mats (his words) in Thailand. I've been here a while. It all depends on "How you say it". I still get myself into trouble over the simplest of matters. Not too long ago an expat was killed over a taxi charge if you remember. It's always best to walk away... let them save face because you never know who your dealing with. Your life is worth more than being right. BlackJack
Do not complain, it will only get you into trouble. If the noise is preventing you from sleeping ask them for a glass and sit down. never drink with the natives noise is part of being in Thailand but shooting someone for asking someone to turn down the noise say where are we living - the wild wide west - why yes I think that when commercial bus companies have the speakers on the outside of the bus then no one cares - no one
