Kwanchai proposes 500,000 baht reward for Suthep’s arrest

kwanchai-wpcf_728x413.jpg

BANGKOK: -- Udon Thani’s red-shirt leader Kwanchai Praipana (Sarakham) has urged red-shirt followers to each donate one baht to set up a 500,000 baht bounty for the arrest of anti-government protest leader Suthep Thaugsuban.

He said Friday that anyone who could arrest Suthep, secretary-general of the People’s Democratic Reform Committee, would receive the 500,000 baht reward, a courtesy of northeastern red-shirt followers.

The red-shirt leader charged that Suthep, the Democrat party, independent organization and some academics had conspired to prevent the February 2 election from taking place, hence it was necessary for all red-shirt followers to come out to protect democracy.

Kwanchai said he would stage a parallel protest in Udon Thani starting on January 11 and had invited members of the Nitirat group to join and to give a lecture on democracy.

He disagreed with the call by the United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship for red-shirt followers to travel to Bangkok to join the counter-protest against the PDRC. If there is a coup in Bangkok, red shirts in upcountry provinces can still carry on with their activities and can reject the coup makers, he explained.

Genius. Now lets see how long it takes...

Kwanchai, "If there is a coup in Bangkok, red shirts in upcountry provinces can still carry on with their activities and can reject the coup makers."

That's an interesting proposal. Does that mean if the red shirts control the northeast, Thaksin can finally walk across the bridge?

Kwanchai's desperate to be relevant to current events, he dislikes the Bangkok based red leaders such as Nattawut and Jatupon, ( though they are really from the south)as he's probably envious of their public speaking skills, all he has is his claim he can mobilize thousands of Issanites in no time at all, he himself is not Issan at all, he's from Suphanburi.

The suspension of the amnesty bill has affected him personally, his conviction and jail sentence for violent assault in Udon on the PAD a few years ago is now in the last court, the Supreme court.

Ah, vigilante justice. Now that's the red guard I know.

Just wondering how this guy can make such a statement. He represents the law? Or does he mean 'abduction'? Or 'lynching'?

Are you saying that if Suthep had more money than Thaksin they should lock Thaksin up.

I think they are already trying to lock him up.

The red-shirt leader charged that Suthep, the Democrat party, independent organization and some academics had conspired to prevent the February 2 election from taking place, hence it was necessary for all red-shirt followers to come out to protect democracy.

Translation

If you live near red shirts defending Democracy get a gun and some tangle wire and lots of tires to burn to protect your self. Also get a good fire insurance policy. We have seen how the red shirts protect Democracy.

He make the statement with the authorization as Suthep

Sent from my iPad using Thaivisa Connect Thailand

Thais will sell their own grandmothers for less than that and they love them. You just may find a few of Suthep's loyal followers licking their chops and ready to devour the master.
