i know what you are saying but there was no reason why the owner could not have just made me a coffee there and then considering that was the person who told me they were closed. Unless the next excuse. I am not qualified to make coffee. lol

a restaurant on pra atit road closed early a couple of weeks ago due to 'the curfew' - i think the staff just fancied an early night. they were completely unfazed when i pointed out every other establishment with sight was open working normally.
