Abbey Road by the Beatles. Great at the time and rock music has never really progressed any further.

Disraeli Gears also notable for We're Going Wrong and Sunshine of Your Love.

I liked the Martha and the Muffins seven inch of Saigon, with concentric grooves on the B side recorded forward and reverse.

My Old Dutch: A Cockney Song

Chorus. — We've been together now for forty years,

An' it don't seem a day too much,
There ain't a lady livin' in the land
As I'd "swop" for my dear old Dutch.

It has got to be Dark Side of the Moon without doubt. I first bought it in 1974 and have replaced 5 times since. I still play it regularly. It never gets dull. I am sure that in a hundred years it will be seen the same way as Vivaldi's Four Seasons is seen now. A classic in every sense of the word.

Ex Aussie prime minister Bob Hawke's record of sculling a yard glass in under 12 seconds.

Matt Monro: Walk Away

Yes, I have strange tastes

Working Girl, by the Members, on pink square vinyl.

Monkey suit, by some female punk band - Plasmatics, garish leopardskin vinyl, with an asymetrically drilled spindle hole.

Sound of the Suburbs, by the Members, on clear vinyl in a cut-out sleeve that looked like a TV set.

You've got to be able to separate form from content.

Got a bit bored with my old stuff a few years back and started to listen to newer stuff.

Current favourites:

Daft Punk - Random Access Memories

Imagine Dragons - Night Visions

My Darkest Days - Sick & Twisted Affair

Many others. Anyone who says that they don't make decent music anymore is just not tryingsmile.png

Just go for the whole album, Astral Weeks, best record ever made, listen to such classics as Ballerina, Madame George, Cyprus Avenue, Sweet Thing and Astral Weeks.

Been listening to this for more years than I care to remember.

Strange I usually go for punk/blues type of stuff, class always shines through.

Released in 1968 by a 21 year old VM, he has never reached these heights again, no one has, sublime.
