Lak Si clash: Man injured in crossfire 'likely paralysed'

Very sad.

I hope that Suthep will be held responsible for bringing his dirty thugs to Bangkok to terrorize the people who just want democracy.

Send Suthep to share a prison cell for the rest of his life together with his "educated" criminals.

Everyone wants democracy, but the laws that govern the democracy have been corrupt. In a perfect world we could hold elections and have the elected government make the neccessary corrections, unfortunetly its not. I don't like the idea of a non elected making the corrections to democracy but its a better choice than having the same corrupt government make the changes. Of the two choices we have I choose Suthep rather than Thaksin. It's not always choosing whats right, its choosing the better of the two options. Don't let the image of Bangkok mislead you, Thailand is still a third world country, democracy is about more than just the freedom to vote.

Unwise to change govt this way as this sets a precedence, or maybe it already has ? In japan and uk, whenever the govt has trouble, the people don't involve the royal family. This is only in thailand.
