Did you ever work here and make tax payments (have a tax ID) and file a return? If so, they just automatically send them out not knowing you are no longer working.

Ah right, thanks. I do have a tax number in order to reclaim the 15% withholding tax paid on the interest on my deposit accounts. The total interest is less than 100K Baht so less than the tax-free threshold. I've never worked in Thailand and don't have any other source of income here. I'll drop by the local tax office and ask if they can stop them sending it to me as it's a waste of time on both sides.

Stop sending them ,are you mad? you will put some poor soul out of a job ,shuffling papers all day,havnt you heard yet ,Thais love paperwork.
