Sirindhorn International Environment Park Award

Cha Am:-- The Sirindhorn International Environmental Park has received a Thailand Tourism Award in the category of learning-based recreation for 2013.


Established in cooperation with the Border Patrol Police, Huai Sai Royal Development Study Center and the Foundation of Mrigadayavan Park under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Bejaratana, the Sirindhorn International Enviornmental Park is located in the Rama VI military camp, Cha-Am, Phetchaburi.


The park was named to commemorate Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn's 48th birthday anniversary in 2003. Its main objective is to carry out activities and works under the Princess's patronage. It also serves as a living museum that provides information about rehabilitation, conservation, the environment, history, and culture.


Visitorts are welcome from 8.30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. They can enjoy an exhibition about energy saving, a video on green energy and the Princess' s mangrove forest on a beautiful beach. There are knowledgeable staff to assist visitors who would like to learn more.


The Park features meetings rooms and seminar halls of various types as well as a 4-star hotel with well-equipped 60 guest rooms. Visitors can enjoy fun activities such as bird watching, kayaking, planting mangrove forest and camping.
