We can't shower/de-louse the dogs at the Farm.

They then go and jump in the Fish Ponds and the chemicals kill the Prawns ... or Shrimp as you would refer tho them as.

Manually removing them with a comb would the answer in that case.

A sense of fairness. There are a group of people who post falsehoods about Thailand and Asian things in general. One posts and then others jump on board bashing this and that and reveling in the taste, education, culture and general superiority of things Western. Someone should tell the truth and stop myths about Thais from being perpetuated.

What are some of these 'Falsehoods' that you feel are perpetrated?

What wrongs do you need righted?

There is no 90 day visa renewal required for retirement extension, Thailand rice scheme costs, bank owes, 1 trillion loss (nonsense). Thailand unemployment high (no), Thailand real estate boom about to bust (no), Thailand economy in trouble (no), Thai men are cowards (no), English speaking people determine how Thai words should be pronounced (not), Thai military can't fight (no), Pattaya is not a septic tank, First rate medical care is available in Thailand (depending on hospital). Retirement extension visas are easy to get and maintain. Thai banks are dependable as any other banks. Thai people are ready and willing to debate with authority. Thai women are as honest as any other women. Thai women do not want to leave Thailand. Beggars in Thailand are from Burma, All ladyboys are not thieves. All bar girls are not bad people, all Farang men in Thailand are not sexpats, Sex trafficking is a crime of the past in Thailand. Thailand makes many good precision products of a world class. Thailand has too many college students and does not need more. The Thai education system needs to concentrate on basics not frilly courses in thinking. Americans can own 100% of a Thai business and land for that business. Thailand costs far less to live than the USA, UK or Australia. The Thai Baht is not falling. The sky is not falling in Thailand.

You will notice I did not mention politics as this is the general forum but that listing would take a couple of pages single spaced.

I really like your first response as it mirrors mine. And you actually made the effort to highlight some examples, although you're right, there are many more.

Another reason I post on TV is to let the many among the diverse readership know that not all foreigners are ignorant racist scumbags. Unfortunately, this appears to be a losing battle most of the time as the haters seem to clog this forum 24/7.

I still like to help whenever I can or offer my opinion but overall I find it a great place to release all the frustration that builds up from all the great riders/drivers and their courtesy on the roads, the tremendous job the police do, the honesty of all the govt employees, the way that the men treat their women so nicely, the fact that you are not ripped off every chance they get, the fact that everyone is just so polite, the great work that they do on all their buildings/bridges etc, their well trained heavy vehicle/bus drivers, the great state of the govt, the fact the shirted groups are so docile and wouldnt hurt a flea and finally the great way some thai women take such sincere care of some farangs financial problems.

Personally I love it here, most of the people I meet are fantatsic and some are not as I will post occasionally but some people are definitely wearing rose coloured glasses with their statements, I suppose that just makes coming i here for a bitch even easier. Lets be honest, most people are totally different to the way they behave in here, when you can hide behind a keyboard that happens but it is one thing I dont do, I will always say it as I see it, it is everyone elses perogative to either agree or disagree.

Like most people, I require decent reading material in the can.

I used to print off the best articles from the web and use them to read myself to sleep.

After two or three readings these print outs wound up on in a little periodical shelf next to the throne.

And I like to off advice on medical and health subjects - common sense and accurate for which I always strive..
