Just a little update to this topic. Amorn at tesco lotus rama 4 said they did not have the fuse.

Eventually found fuses on the opposite side of road to rama 4 in a little car stereo shop. Very easy to spot from the road..

Then took a trip to 320sp motorcycle shop and couldnt beleive i found a bike mounted usb port including fuse at battery end and all the bits to fit for 700 bht. Well pleased... So the ciggarette socket currently on bike is going in bin .. Happy days

The fuse for the garmin charger was a 10mm long 1amp fast blow.

Car stereo shop supplied me with 10mm 1.6amp fast blow.

Whereas the usb kit from 320sp has a waterproof mini blade fuse located at battery end. Just how it should be. Very nice bit of kit from 320sp

Also got a cracking pair of gloves from 320sp. Only 600 baht

If your a biker and haven't visited 320sp yet, i advise you do.. Fantastic little shop. Took me several attempts to find it tho

Wish I knew about the usb kit fron 320sp a week ago. I wanted a usb port, and ended up making my own. I put in a fuse at the battery end for safety.

True, 320sp is a fun shop with quite a range of accesoires to have a look I wouldnt bet my hands on a pair of 600bt gloves though but if for a scooter it must suffice

Yes you need that fuse. A shop fitted my cigarette lighter socket without a fuse anywhere, think it started to short out and blew fuse in charger. Disconnected it from battery quick sharp before the new ride went up in flames. I will fit my usb port in the morning so i know its good..

Dont ride a scooter. But its not the bike, speed is speed doesnt matter what bike your on. Got a crf 250. I brought my hein gericke gloves from the uk,but just too dam hot. Some gloves are better than none i suppose, plus hopefully wont take a dive.

Riding in bangkok is a breeze anyhow. Im very surprised at that..thought it was going to be bedlum. I have gots lots of experience riding in london tho, which in my opinion is more hair raising than here.

Try riding to southend on a sunday with all the (i only drive one day aweek car drivers) thats scary. At least here everybody seems well tuned in to being surrounded in bikes.

I believe that yeah, I too think that driving in Bkk is not that bad, Ive got some ducati half mesh gloves which so far are ok, luckily didnt tested them yet in a accident

sorry to disappoint you but I dont own a ducati, I just ran into the gloves and thought it must be convenient :)

Ducatis are nice but not my kinda bike, too big headlight makes me think of a honda msx125 or keeway rkv200 every time I see one.

currently still happy with my ninja300 and vulcan 400

I think the ducati would be too big for bangkok aswell,i like my little skinny crf for cutting between the traffic and getting upfront at the lights. much fun :) i do miss the low down grunt of my xt660x that is back in the uk though. My dad is currently babysitting it for me and reliving his youth (complete with fire spitting twin arrow exhausts)......good luck dad :)

99 percent of the products there at 320sp shop are all fake if not 100 percent.

I bought a sack full exactly the same as your requirement from Amorn Electronics in China town. Amorn has other stores all around Bangkok, go there and I am sure you will find what you need.
