Is there a place on Phuket where I can rent a safety deposit box ?

Because banks are usually fully booked, I hope for a safe place elsewhere.

I've been told,that just about all banks in Thailand say all their boxes are full.But I understand the way it works is if you have allot of money in their bank 2,3 million baht then they can Supposely find A box for you.

This sounds difficult but it's not--I've done it three times in the past 10 years...

1) Locate a bank under construction

2) Find the manager of the closest affiliated branch and tell him your plan

3) Put down a small deposit for your box

Easy...

almost every bank have empty safety deposit, but these are reserved for high rollers, so wouldn't be a problem then i guess..
