Not sure if this has been covered yet, but can someone please recommend a shop for this? I saw that Piyanas was recommended, but I am not looking for something that hi end. More of something like Denon or JBL ect. kind of like what they have a Power Buy but with a proper setup so I see what it sounds like. Or would Piyanas have it?

Piyanas carry everything from 3,000 Baht speakers to 3,000,000 Baht speakers, highly recommended as a one-stop type shop, with knowledgable sales people, great service, and good prices.

I strongly suggest you do some research first

What HiFi magazine has comprehensive reviews of a range of Home Theatre systems

at varying prices. Speakers too

Read the reviews then go to the shop and watch and listen for yourself

Lastly shop around for the best price

Some of the PowerBuy places have good setups also. I got my mid range Denon from Piyanas. Prices here are insane compared to back home. At least double the price. If I had it to do over again, I'd go to Hong Kong. The money I'd save would pay for the trip.

There is a hi fi show coming up in june this year in bangkok You get some really good discounts there. Brought my mitsubushi projector there and some great Jamo speakers .ended up getting 60,000 baht discount on the package .The package was worth over 500,000 .But you can get really good stuff cheap. They had very cheap amps for sale and i seen a blu ray pioneer top of the range going for half price
