Our car is fitted with a minidisc system (which I have never used before in my life!). I would like to change this source to CD.

Is this possible without yanking out the whole system? I know there is a mechanism of converting Compact Cassette to CD, any equivalent for the Minidisc?

I think its time for a new head unit.

if your head unit can handle a cd changer (many can), you can buy a cd changer, stick it in the boot and control it with your head unit.

Probably cheaper to buy a new cd head unit though. CD players with MP3 start at around 6,000 baht.

Its a shame minidiscs never took off properly. I love the way you can't scratch them.
