PDRC supporters vow to get rid of Thaksin regime

BANGKOK: -- Protest leader Suthep Thaugsuban led supporters of the People’s Democratic Reform Committee to make a vow to get rid of Thaksin regime in order to change the country into a real democracy and to have the country reformed before there is an election.

They said simultaneously that they would fight on no matter how long it would take until the regime is eradicated and that this is a national reform.

Several tens of thousands supporters of the PDRC joined the procession march from Lumpini park to Sanam Luang to express their well wishes to His Majesty the King on the occasion of the Coronation Day and to make a vow of loyalty to the Monarchy.

The weekend warriors from Bangkok came out to support him. But when the really battle begins these people will be no where to be found. There afraid to get their hands dirty. This is the big different between the Reds and the Yellows.

The money and rigged vote buying aka vote terrorization makes the difference

Interesting to see Khaosod admitting to several tens of thousands . . . quite a lot larger number than any recent PT/UDD rally.

What laughter. Getting rid of all the 'Shins' (insert poo and puppet and all the cliches here) will not change things one iota. Money makes channels. No river is changed by words.

Old news. Everyone knows what these clowns have been hissyfitting about for the last few months

No "Old news", "ongoing news". However you are correct, I think that most people know what the PDRC and PTP/UDD stand for and want to happen/do. I think that it's still the same as it was last November/December. Same discussion on TV, same positions, same arguments.

Abhisit's "plan" MIGHT have some chance of sparking a discussion and peaceful resolution, though I think that there is little chance of that. We can hope that people soften their positions and negotiate.

yes the reds were never afraid to use violence.....different than the Bangkok middle class.

Also most PDRC supporters have to work during the week, no one pays them.

The reds don't work?

You're being (probably deliberately) naive if you think the PDRC protestors camping out in Lumpini Park are not being paid!

Not so long back a friends mother got THB2000 from PDRC one day and THB2000 the following day from a red gathering, I have no reason to disbelieve her!

Starters, the Shins out the way, the start of all THIS governments problems, PTP are followers of the great redeemer who messed Thailands demo gov up big time.

NOW all the pro gov supporters are blaming anyone to save face. Mega failed -corrupt government, all up before the courts.

The only chance there is for all is get ALL the scum into courts no matter which party they are, then vote for who is left. But to stop all this happening again Thailand HAS to bring strict control of offenders from any side--in reforms never mind how long that takes.

Real democracy and Suterp. What an oxymoron. Maybe he meant definiciones de fascismo.

Look your own failed regime, get a life.

Failed regime? Last I know before Suterp screwed up the economy was that we had a positive GDP, surplus current account, improve +BBB credit rating, increase foreign reserve to USD180+, positive trade balance and FDI up a record 77% over 2012. Oh, more. Unemployment at 0.7% (4th best in the world) and recognition by UN as one of the great development success in social and development.

Ya, we certainly heading for a failed regime if Suterp or Ahbisit got their way. Probably treated as pariah by the world community.

You really have to read more and come out of your closet.

You would had to believe that it wasn't true wouldn't you?

She is a very respectable lady, why would she lie?

There are buckets of money on offer to both sides.

OK in your eyes it hasn't been a failed regime ???? so YOU give me a list of mega achievements during the 3 years in power---can you ??? IF NOT it has been a failed regime.

Your stats are outdated, and BS. you posted these to divert. please answer my post --positive.

Forget the crap re Suthep and Abhisit, they came into the limelight after the mega exposure erupted.

You really have to not read more --you have to get being more honest.

Had this government been in your country and done the same that country would have thrown PTP to the dogs long ago. Please get out of your denial rompers.
