They still have many more charges to face.

Can't wait to see them lose all their assets and go to prison.

If the PTP start misbehaving the bullet holes in their feet will turn in to long prison terms.

Bring it on Shinawatra Mafia....the LAW is waiting for.

Some posts have been deleted.

There is a lot of people trying to score points off each other at the recent news. I will remind everyone of the forum rules specifically;

2) Do not use ThaiVisa.com to post any material which is knowingly or can be reasonably construed as false, inaccurate, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise in violation of any law. You also agree not to post negative comments criticizing the legal proceedings or judgments of any Thai court of law.

5) Do not use Thaivisa as a platform to gather support to effect changes on political or governmental issues.

6) Do not post comments that could be reasonably construed as defamation or libel. Defamation is the issuance of a statement about another person or business which causes that person to suffer harm. Libel is when the defamatory statement is published either in a drawing, painting, cinematography, film, picture or letters made visible by any means, or any other recording instruments, recording picture or letters, or by broadcasting or spreading picture, or by propagation by any other means. Defamation is both a civil and criminal charge in Thailand.

7) Respect fellow members by posting in a civil manner: do not launch personal attacks, or be hateful or insulting towards other members, ie No flaming

8) Do not post disruptive or inflammatory messages, vulgarities, obscenities or profanities or to incite useless arguments by avoiding troll activity.

9) Do not post inflammatory messages on the forum, or attempt to disrupt discussions to upset its participants, or trolling.Trolling can be defined as the act of purposefully antagonizing other people on the internet by posting controversial, inflammatory, irrelevant or off-topic messages with the primary intent of provoking other users into an emotional response or to generally disrupt normal on-topic discussion.

11) Do not post slurs, degrading or overly negative comments directed towards Thailand, specific locations, Thai institutions such as the judicial or law enforcement system, Thai culture, Thai people or any other group on the basis of race, nationality, religion, gender or sexual orientation.

15) Do not make changes to quoted material that changes the intended meaning of the quoted post

Comments about grammar etc are also not relevant, you are not the grammar police so stop the petty digs.

If I see further of the same I will issue long suspensions.

Of course they denounce it. Usual stuff. Now get on with it. Sit down with relevant parties and change what needs to be changed. Then have elections. Stop the rhetoric. Stop rallying people and holding on to power. Get on with things. There are mainly two sides. Agree on the common ground and leave to the people in an election what else needs decided. Judging 80% of the farmers are disappointed. The numbers for red or yellow protests dwindling. Get your heads together. Like m or not: YL is in charge, by proxy, of the PTP, Abhisit of the Dems. Talk and find a way. Stop escalating or being RIGHT like school kids. It s for the good of ALL the people.

The Thai public can be grateful that the judicial system works

I will believe that the system works when those that sabotaged the 2014 elections are brought to justice.

But we all know that will not happen, don´t we? Instead the system is busy removing a hefty chunk of the elected government over the transfer of a single civil servant (at least it´s a step up from the cooking show!).

In short: Please do not insult our intelligence.

our intelligence ? Thank You I haven't laughed so hard in a long time !! Lol

The thing I wonder about is, whether the 10 members of the caretaker cabinet will also get a 5 year ban on poltics? As I understand, that would be pretty much an automatic response, but by court, by EC, by whom?

And the other thing: being a caretaker government, which can not appoint new members to fill in for the 10 people ousted, how many members are there still in this skeleton group? Normally I think the max is around 35 members, incl. dpty ministers.

Let's hope the rain will inundate Aksa Road for a week...

I trust you will be looking forward to the day Suthep and the Mad Monk are placed in prison?

Caught with your hands in the cookie jar once topo often and now SMACK! Thats what has happened. I am in Chiang Mai and was in a Noodle shop when this was on TV. All in Thai so I was just there eating then APPLAUSE. I asked what happened and they said YINGLUCK IS GONE TODAY. They were happy.

So where are all these red shirts who are angry? Not in Hang Dong Chiang Mai I can assure you

I think the next election (whenever that is) will be interesting. Maybe especially if the EC get's tough with making campaigning safe and get's tough with intimidation and whatever else is necessary and possible to tweak to get closer to free and fair elections. My impression as well is that hard-core red support is waning as well. More people that I know seem to be tired of the PTP (regular people at least, don't know any of the wealthy people in chiangmai). Couple that with the low turnout on Feb 2, the number if invalid ballots and no votes, and I think the end result is unpredictable. I think too that people (at least in Bangkok) are tired of the protestors, though this is just from what I read since I'm in Chiang Mai.

Mostly, I think everyone is tired of violence and intolerance.

Best wishes!

It's shame that 'Democratic majority rule' clearly doesn't work in Thailand. In the absence of Royal, military or dictatorship rule, I fear anarchy will reign in the streets

Actually, it's wonderful that corruption and abuse of power clearly were recognized and justice prevailed (for once) in Thailand. I doubt the nihilst nutjobs will play any role in what's to come (in the streets or anywhere else).
