Need to rent a water pump, a kind of submersible deep well pump 1 HP.

Featured Replies

Hi, I am looking for a water pump, to pump water from a sea level storage tank, to a reserve tank, about 60 meteres, vertical up a hill...

Any information on a place or person to rent from, or possibly purchase, will be appreciated.

Thanks...

60 meters vertical w00t.gif ???? What diameter is your pipe (I mean the water pipe). Then can work out how big of a pump you need. But guess it needs to be pretty big one!

Sorry - no idea about hiring one, but the last time that I needed a 'drop' pump I bought it from Water Tech. They are before Big C on the L coming from Bophut Lots of water tanks in their yard.

They had a quite a large choice of pumps back then - but I only needed a 'lift' of about 20 meters. HTH.

Come across several people who have wells over 100 mts... Certainly a case of size matters... both pump and pipe...

Perhaps talk to Supot Electric .between Bophut and Maenam, ...they have a lot of choices... not sure about rental.... perhaps ask!.... (if staff no understand, speak to the manager/ owner in the office! their English is pretty good! thumbsup.gif ) ...
