The school day is far too long here and the holidays too short. There is too much homework and way too many tests/exams.

On Saturdays and Sundays kids should be allowed to forget about the pressures of school and have some fun (maybe just a few light chores to earn some pocket money).

Life needs to be the correct balance of study, work and play.

Just my opinion.

Seems that the childhood is over when they have to "attend" school. You're so right. One way the other, it will turn a lot of them into learning robots.

I'm glad that I grew up without facebook and other bs.

So does anyone know if the expensive private schools do these o-nets also?

I am asking, because fir example the common core disaster in the USA doesn't apply to the elite schools.

^ The Onet is required if you are going on to a Thai University. Most International School students will be going overseas or to International University programs, so they usually don't take Onet tests, or don't put much stress on their importance if they do.
