could someone who has experience there give the name of the recommended dentist for basic cleaning? thank you.

Dr Benchaporn

I had a clean at Elite. It took less than 10 minutes and cost 1000 baht. I wouldn't recommend them for cleaning.

However, for dental work they're superb.

Was the dentist Dr. Benchaporn?

I can't remember his name. Tall, skinny bloke, early 30's, wears glasses.

I had a very negative experience at elite smile, they did a poor job on a filling which lead to me having a root canal surgery done there; which was also botched, leading to a lot of pain and a pulled tooth.

If they did a poor job on a filling, why did you then trust them with a root canal?

good question; I just trusted them because I had been to them previously and they did a fine job, didn't really expect it was 100% their fault at first.

Just wondering if every one is talking about the elite smile clinic located in the Pantip Mall. There is another clinic just up the street with a similar name. I believe it is located across the street from Butter is Better.

I am not doubting any one as every one does make mistakes. Just want to make sure it is the same clinic.

In defense of all dentists, if you wait to long, which is very easy to do, it gets exponentially worse. You could spend 75K thb on a root canal/crown in the US and still lose the tooth within a year. They will all show you the x-ray and point this stuff out to you. I'm sorry to hear about the 1000 thb cleanings, though...I've never paid more than 500, but if you have gum disease they will send you to the periodontist for planing/scraping with Novocaine shots.
