Well the application is in the post :D

Weighing in at 2.4kgs and around 4" of paper. Lets look on the bright side, if the visa is refused this time the ECO may get a bad back from picking it up :o

So the basic putline of the letter is as such

  • 1]Introduction brief outline of relationship
2]Discuss absence of reference to Pin's University education in first application. Btw she has now received her degree transcript as proof.
3]Discuss financial support offered, and Pin's receipt of assets since last application. (around 10 rai)
4]Communication details as proof of a valid relationship
5]Accomodation details and sponsors financial details
6]Plans for Pin's stay in England
7]Reasons to return. Have got this up to two now. That she has to return for her graduation ceremony and also that non return will jeopardise any future visa arrangements. Please feel free to add anything here if anyone can.
All of these points will refer to evidence within the folder

Have I missed anything blindingly obvious? Or maybe something subtle.

I am just tidying the covering letter up and will email it on Tuesday. It is going to be around 3 sides of typed A4! Is this overkill? The tone of the letter is formal and refers to the points raised in the Refusal of Entry Clearance received in December.

Pin will be going to the embassy on Thursday as this is her luckiest day :D

Once again I thank everyone for their guidance in the application process and roll on Thursday so I can get rid of these butterflies in my stomach and get a decent nights sleep again (one way or the other).

I have just noticed that I have appeared to have replied to this, which is totally accidental and would again appear proof of my technophobia, as I have nothing to help Bruno, I can only say sorry for the non-comment, except good luck.

Still waiting Jockstar. When Pin left the visa application centre they said it would take two or three days for a reply, they would send an email notification and a reply in the post.

So given the normal time periods involved in administration in Thailand (given personal experience) we will be looking at Friday next week!!!

Be sure I will be posting when we receive an answer one way or another.

Just wanted to wish you luck.

I'm currently in the process of getting our file together before putting in the application.

I read this forum every day and its interesting to see so many people at different stages of the application process - before, during and after.

Once again - good luck.
