Weather In August

Featured Replies

I am thinking of returning to Pattaya in the next six months (August time) can anyone tell me what the weather is like then? will i still be able to sit on the beach and get a tan? or is it cold? rainy? counld anyone tell me the best time to return? i will be returning in March but i want to come back somewhere between. Any suggestions ?

We still have nice days in August and of course you can sit on the beach and get a tan. However, it is rainy season time and you may have half of your holiday affected by rain. If you want to lay on the beach every day sunbathing then don't come, wait until November.

Strangely enough the only time when it does get cold here, is the best season to visit. i.e. November - February.

Mind you cold is relative, like a good european summer, but cool enough at night to sleep without air-conditioning.

The Thai's will have jackets on, but I have only resorted to such measures twice in nearly 20 years.
