Popular Post catweazle Posted June 18, 2014 Popular Post Posted June 18, 2014 What a moron! Putting himself on a silver plate with a real estate company... As a single guy with 30m THB in the pocket I'd buy a small condo and a Fino in Bkk with 12m+ people and have happy end massages, MTV, SFX cinema, Heineken and pizza until I die 3
catweazle Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Throw the book at him. After he serves his time here, deport him to Russia... ...and you are? ...
catweazle Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 ...and no fingerpointing what a disappointing thread

Jasun Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 innocent until proven guilty? He wasn't arrested for the theft, it was for being a fugitive. It would be hard proving he is not in Thailand right now.
Asiantravel Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 At least he is out of the system, imagine buying property from this guy. Imagine having paid a whopping deposit to this guy and thinking it is in safe hands
CraigSchuler Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Why with 1 million dollars would anybody open a business and risk being exposed? you could live like a king in Issan for the rest of your life. Probably better the law found him before the Ruskie he stole from did, might not of ended so well!
belg Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 (edited) so since 2012, not the police, nor immigration knew about this person ? he does not do 90 day reports or business visa requirements? and how did he get this $1 million dollars to thailand ? no questions asked, right ? Edited June 18, 2014 by belg
Emster23 Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 He had the glory, but seems lacking in power. Yeah, how did he get all that $$ in? Must have had some blind eyes to pay off one would think. Put him in the glory hole.
oldsailor35 Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Throw the book at him. After he serves his time here, deport him to Russia... Apart from a fake passport, what else is there to "Throw the book at him " for.
larsjohnsson Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Throw the book at him. After he serves his time here, deport him to Russia... Apart from a fake passport, what else is there to "Throw the book at him " for. He was a fugitive that stole 1 million dollar. Overstay and working illegal of course
Justanotherpassword Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 At least he is out of the system, imagine buying property from this guy. Imagine having paid a whopping deposit to this guy and thinking it is in safe hands I am imagining that if his primary customer were other Russians bigger problems await him now. 1
Alwyn Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 With the assistance of Interpol So Thailand conducted this investigation and tracked down the fugitive. Sure it wasn't the other way around, Interpol with the assistance of the BIB. It most definitely would have been the other way around. Interpol would have found him and then the BIB arrested him, this is the usual method.. Interpol cannot just go arresting people wherever they are, they need the cooperation of local plod.
makkam Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 The guy clearly came into Thailand when the mega corrupt Thaksin family were omnipotent. He pays tea money to the right people ( a large portion to the Thaksin family of course ) and a regular stipend to the immigration police in Thailand and he thought he was bullet proof. Thankfully we have a proper government in place now who we are seeing sweeping out and cleaning the mess left behind by the Thaksin endorsed money hungry harpies. Continued good riddance to bad rubbish and another thumbs up to the NCPO...well done chaps
