Just did a search on the above mentioned topic and came up with ..... zip

I know this has been discussed many times before, but has anybody recently applied, and if so, what was the waiting time.

The AVS site does not mention anything about the waiting period either.

At least I know I now have a bit of breathing space.

We arent going back to Brissy until November. Way too cold for me before that

It will take 5-6 working days for a tourist visa.....the visa must be activated within 3 months of the approval.
