JaiLai Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 Will this be on channel 38 as per the last round matches? Thanks
KhunKone Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 Btw does anyone knows why there are no more games on TV5 or 7, but now only on TV8 ?Seems that since the group turn ends i could only find them on TV8 (and I have a really shitty reception of it so...) :/
NiwPix Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 Can't wait I don't think the German defense will be high up in the pitch as when they played Algeria...so Manuel Neuer will probably not be needed as a sweeper
Alfa Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 (edited) Can I watch the game in internet start at 11'00 p.m. ?.... Don't have any TV. Edited July 4, 2014 by Alfa
SantiSuk Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 (edited) Channel 8 is the broadcast channel that the last 16 (previous round) matches were shown on. Apparently it was not exactly free to air as it was a digital signal so no ordinary joes with their cheap analogue sets could watch for free. The Government thru the broadcasting commission has said it will take RS (the franchise holder for World Cup rights in Thailand to court. We can therefore expect (and I think I have heard it confirmed) that the rest of the matches form tonight forward will be genuinely free to air. That means either 3, 7, 9 or 11 I think (though when I said I think I heard it confirmed I'm sure the announcement said channel 19 or some such unrecognisable channel (the veracity of which I doubt).Bit of a channel hop to find it at about 22:50 for me!Unlikely to have an English language option on the genuinely free to airs I fear It's aaw-haaaw or mute! Sky reported this morning that 7 of the German squad have gone down with flu which could have a big bearing on the outcome. .... ...have now quickly looked that up on the internet - Germany manager is saying its been very exaggerated per BBC. No time to read the details on BBC web-site must dash Jai Lai .. channel 38 is Thai TV Channel 8. It's just that True and CTH (and maybe other providers) put Thai TV channel 8 on their own 'channel' 38. Edited July 4, 2014 by SantiSuk
Gillyflower Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 I hope Germany wins. I can't be bothered to watch (all my favourite programmes are off). But if France wins I will be earbashed for days.
KhunKone Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 OK Santisuk! I've been looking the group round games either on TV5 or TV7 depending on which game but sadly no 1/8 round games on it...Will check tonight, or might have a move to a Pub on Suk...
NeverSure Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 I hope Germany wins. I can't be bothered to watch (all my favourite programmes are off). But if France wins I will be earbashed for days. France does have the option to surrender just before the game starts.
dutchisaan Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 It was advertised that the games will be on channel 8. I use a psi statelite and change the sound channel on the psi box to the right channel for English commentarry. Have a good time watiching this game. Prbkk Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 0-1 half time but France will still win this, 3-1 or 3-2
Gillyflower Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 At the 64th minute, it is still 0-1. France won't win.
KhunKone Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 What a disapointing defeat honestly... Germany who seemed impressive on the group round, has been so cheap playing on these 2 last games... should improve seriously to pass those semis... 1
Travel2003 Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 Surprisingly poor match, and shockingly poor France. 1
salty Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 Germany always seem to get the job done in these poor games. 1
