Maggie Choos is an expensive bar, basically a well oiled machine for making tons of money. which has girls in cages above the bar and the vibe is like an opium den, just with rich bankers. For entertainment they have a crooner black guy most nights, surrounded by more girls on swings. Sounds fun but it kind of wears off very quickly, esp when the menus are thrust in your face and as soon as the drink is done they come and stand around you with said menu and torch until you order more.

BTW a bottle costs around 7000 baht not inc service and tax. Like he said, he can go where he wants

Silom, had the misfortune to be taken there on a business trip last year. Would have preferred dinner at the Oriental and a few drinks at Nana Plaza for half the price.
