A friend has restored an old Suzuki K125cc and would like to take this home to his home countrie.


Is this possible? What laws apply to export the of an old bike out of Thailand?

I don't think the problem is taking it out of Thailand is a problem. Actually think thai government is happy to have one less bike on the road. I think the problem will be with the home country and whether they will allow bike in. I don't know what country he is importing into. In the us if the vehicle is over 25 years old it can be imported and does not need to meet smog requirements. I don't know if it the same situation throughout world. Btw I love the Suzuki. That bike is what my grandpa rode in Thailand
