Hi, we are a bunch of guys that play golf regulary on different courses in and around Chiang Rai. Everyone is welcome to join.

This Thursday, 29th, we will have a Scramble at Barry's place on the Old Airport. We start 7.30 with coffee and teeoff around 8.00.

I am just after hearing a very funny story about a prize winner at a golf game.

It sounds great that there are a few people around that want a crack golf. I would love a game. There is nothing like showing myself just how uncordinated I really am. Is there any chance we could organise one of these get togethers on a Sunday as many of us work Mon - Sat and miss out on the opportunity!

We had a great day today. Our team, me, OEJ and UPA, had a fantastic score of 6 under par gross!!!! That must be one of the best scores on Barrys course. OK, we had a scramble but anyway, it was a great score.

Yes, why not? We can have a go on a Sunday and maybe there will be many new faces and many new friends to make.

So how many are interested to have a go coming Sunday, 2nd of July?

We cannot start to early because of World Cup. So what about starting with lunch around 12.00 and then teeoff when we are ready?

Dr Limbo, I have been there to see the course and it looks very good. We, 6 - 8 players with wifes and gf's, are going there tomorrow to play. Some will be playing and some not. After we will try the restaurant and I hope they have enough of this Chilean wine.

Maybe Dr Limbo, you join us? Anyone else, golfer or not, that want to join us are welcome!

We met at 9.00 AM in the restaurant, had a lot of coffee and tea and around 10.00 the rain stopped and we went up to the golfcourse.

We had a lot of fun, played 18 holes, matchplay, two teams with 3 people in each. Team A won the first 9 and Team B the last 9. No Blood.

Then we went back to the restaurant, ordered beer (many), wine from Chile (4 bottles) and a lot of food.

We had a wonderful afternoon, the wine was good, beer cold, good service and the food excellent.

After that we went to Bo's place to celebrate Erg's 100 posts. More cold beer, much more cold beer and then home after another hard day at work.

Someone has to do it!
