2.4 magnitude earthquake hits Mae Suai District in Chiang Rai, no damage reported

CHIANG RAI, 13 July 2014 (NNT) – The Department of Meteorology has reported that an earthquake measuring 2.4 magnitude on the Richter scale hit Mae Suai District in Chiang Rai at 1:30 a.m. today.

The center of the earthquake was in Mae Suai District in Chiang Rai Province, with a depth of about six kilometers into the ground. Initially, no damage has been reported.
