Hey. Owners of the Cb300...

How tall are you?

I really want it but I'm tall, 186.

Will it be to small for me?

I am 183 and it is fine for me. Only way to be sure is to go to the dealer and sit on one.

agreed...hopefully in the next few weeks there will be demo bikes to ride, so you can "try before you buy".....

I am here in NST on holiday, I popped into the local dealer where I bought my click, I had to change oil...

While waiting I walked in to the showroom and there was a cb300, it's really nice, they said it was 126k until the end of this month... + add extra for paperwork and stuff... It's in black... I am seriously thinking of buying it, just as a holiday bike...

I am just scared it will be a little to small for me, engine wise, not sitting size... I was fine on the cbr250 so this will do for sure...

will replace exhaust ( for a black and smaller one ), brake and clutch lever, front flasher, get sticker on the wheels, radiator cover, seat cowl or cover and the most important of all get that rear totally change by getting the immatriculation under the seat and get rear flasher lights on each side of the beaking light

That is not a bike from Chiang Mai, that is from a guy who lives in Lam Luk Ka, Pathum Thani.

Trust me, I am not making this up, I actually know the owner.

I thought about the 300 but then figured maybe the smaller engine might get boring too quickly, so I threw in another 17k and got the 500 with less than 1000km on the clock...

But the 300 would have been my choice for new bike, good value and looks great..

That tail above looks schweeeet :)

I really like the 300f but I am just not sure if I want to buy one. When I see clean CBR250s with low mileage going for 70k it is difficult to justify the 300f at nearly double the cost. I also am starting to see some low mileage CB500f's going for 150 to 170k. If I could find a clean, low mileage, used CB300f for around 90k I would likely jump at it but you won't see that for another year or two at the earliest.

Granted if you really want a "new" bike then the CB300f is priced reasonably. Personally since I view these bikes as utilitarian models (low bling) as apposed to performance models (high bling), buying used doesn't phase me at all. Different strokes for different folks, I really like the CB300f, I am just not sure I want to buy one.

Loving my bike so far.... I know its not the 300 but pretty similar and no 500F thread :)

Nearly doubled the km on the clock in the 3 days I had it, taking it easy with the occasional squirt !!!

Glad I bit the bullet and bought it, could have waited another year for the Yam MT-07 to arrive...

Hope you guys are enjoying your new rides too :)

Anyone else find the strange footpeg rubbers irritating? They move arround too much for my liking. Thinking of filling them with silicone rubber to firm them up. Anyone with same feeling that has done a fix?

but then be ready for more vibrations to your feet.
