Earthquake in SW China felt in Chiang Mai ?

Featured Replies

I was just interested whether anyone in Chiang Mai felt anything from the earthquake in south-western China a few days ago?

The earth rarely moves for me anymore.

An age thing I believe!

All joking aside, the death toll is in the hundreds for this earthquake.

I noticed that it is fairly minor news in the UK looking at the BBC website which is dominated by the events in Israel/ Palestine while it is all over the Thai news. I shouldn't really be suprised but it still always amazes me how Geocentric [is that a word!] the news is.

btw any good new burger restaurants opened up recently?

yes, according to the 80 posts on the subject; The White Plate, but apparently, it has recently closed down, too.  The new Mcdonalds on Suthep is now open.
