I'm posting on behalf of a friend who lives in Germany.

My friend would like to get a car for his girlfriend who lives in Phuket.

However he would like to do this in the most economical way and with minimal risk.

He would like to know if he can get a car through "leasing"? I heard from some Thai friends that "leasing" can only be done by companies.

I think his purpose is to get a cheap car, pay a minimal fee each month, without having to pay a big downpayment. And in case he breaks up with his girlfriend, he can get rid of the car easily.

He lives in Germany but comes to Thailand about 3-4times a year. He said he can pay by credit card or bank transfer every month.

Any suggestions?
