Outside Atlanta Hospital, Liberians Praise American Ebola Patients

On first look, they appear to be demonstrators protesting the hospital’s decision to accept for treatment a pair of Americans who contracted Ebola while working in West Africa. But a closer look reveals the group is actually a rally meant as a thank you to those patients, a physician and an aid worker who contracted the disease on a missionary trip to Liberia.

Oh, and your "25 conspiracy theories that turned out to be true" is utter garbage. No cites, links or supporting material of any kind. You should have just linked directly to natural news, inforwars or whale.to (which are they crank sites they came from). I won't press the matter further as it's off topic for tis thread, but if you'd like to open a new thread, I'm prepared to debate any of them with you.

US patent application for ebola...

http://www.google.com/patents/US20120251502

And what conclusion, pray tell, are we meant to draw from that? You can't just drop a turd like that and then run away from it. At least tell us how it's germane to the discussion.

Just a looney tune.

This is an interesting article.

Tracing Ebolas Breakout to an African 2-Year-Old

Patient Zero in the Ebola outbreak, researchers suspect, was a 2-year-old boy who died on Dec. 6, just a few days after falling ill in a village in Guéckédou, in southeastern Guinea. Bordering Sierra Leone and Liberia, Guéckédou is at the intersection of three nations, where the disease found an easy entry point to the region.

A week later, it killed the boys mother, then his 3-year-old sister, then his grandmother. All had fever, vomiting and diarrhea, but no one knew what had sickened them.

Two mourners at the grandmothers funeral took the virus home to their village. A health worker carried it to still another, where he died, as did his doctor. They both infected relatives from other towns. By the time Ebola was recognized, in March, dozens of people had died in eight Guinean communities, and suspected cases were popping up in Liberia and Sierra Leone.

I  enjoy a good conspiracy theory.
This one doesn't cut it imo.

Creating a global pandemic that could cull billions is a very dangerous plan.
Do you think Russia (or China) will sit around, after seeing tens or hundreds of millions of their citizens being decimated?
Hell no.
It will rain nukes on DC and in all the nuclear bunkers around the US.

Mutual assured destruction is a great deterrent.

I might finally get a quick shag off the the Uni girl down the road with 5 mins to go.

Every cloud, so to speak.

Truly pathetic.

I seen a Youtube video years ago whereby hundreds of thousands of large plastic coffins with lids, big enough to fit 3 people inside of each, lining a highway in Georgia.
Is it just mere coincidence that the 2 infected Americans were flown to Atlanta in Georgia?? If this gets out of hand (and it will), at least they will have half a million or so coffins ready for

the decimated population..

Mere coincidence??? I suppose you have to first start with a premise that us not Internet lore started by Beforeitwasnews and Alex Jones Infowars websites . . .

1/2 million? More like 73,000 and each made to vault a single casket.

However, the story and pictures are several years old; the objects shown have nothing to do with FEMA or any other agency of the U.S. government, and they were around long before Barack Obama was first elected to the presidency of the U.S. in 2008.

What's shown in the photos displayed with the "FEMA camp" story are not "plastic coffins," but rather what's known as burial vaults or grave liners. These liners don't hold human remains in themselves; they're a protective shell are placed into before interment in areas where water seepage or ground subsidence is an issue.

Do your own research on the details, I am not here to spoon feed you...

Let's start with the Gulf of Tonkin incident, which was admitted to being false by the Sec of Defense at the time, Robert McNamara... Let's see you refute this one... I'm waiting...

Draw your own conclusions... I am merely providing information which is germane to the discussion...

Much like this tidbit of information...

You cannot make people believe in anything, all you can do is provide information to allow them to draw their own conclusions...

well the truth is yet to be seen... and the response you have posted is not an official release, so it could also be disinformation. Its difficult to know what to believe... But, I doubt a standard coffin could actually fit inside one of these 'liners'..I guess time will tell... Maybe call a few funeral parlors to see if they use these things..??

Ebola crisis to last 'at least six months' - MSF

The outbreak of Ebola in West Africa will take at least six months to bring under control, the medical charity Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) says.

Ironically, I think this is good news. At least it can be brought under control.

Well yes. However, I pondered this today and thought, hold on we already have incurable diseases like Ebola killing tens of thousands a year. Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus. We are just used to it killing us.

Bunch of BS most likely but source of this news is interesting.   3,000 “Ebola Martyrs” Warned Ready To Strike America

August 16, 2014

A new report released in the Kremlin today by the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) is stating that the reason(s) for President Obama’s “mysterious and unscheduled” return to the White House this weekend is due the United States facing an “apocalyptic attack” from an estimated 3,000 “Ebola Martyrs” who are already in America and warned are “ready to strike”.

According to this report, SVR intelligence analysts became aware of the attack planned by these “Ebola Martyrs” against the US from their “monitoring” of a Islamic State (IS) [also known as the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) and the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS)] terror cell operating out of the Embassy of Saudi Arabia located in Washington D.C.

The concept is spine chilling! But of course it's self defeating, if the protagonists unleash such a weapon, they themselves may ultimately die - I suspect Ebola doesn't give a toss about religious beliefs or anything else so the same risk level is equal to all!

That is some weapons-grade crazy, right there.

I know. It's a bother. Biological terrorism right there in reach of radicals.

Serious.

"Hi, you don't know me from Adam. Would you like to exchange some body fluids?"

Oh yeah, I can see that getting really out of control.
