Past Tense

Featured Replies

hello, while i was working in thailand it was easy for me because i was working as a teacher so when people asked what i did i just said "phom pen khru/ajarn". however, i'm not a teacher anymore so i want to know how to say "i used to be a teacher". specifically i want to say i was a 'volunteer' teacher, past tense. just a bit confused about how to say it.

hope you can help :o

"i used to be a teacher"

ผมเคยเป็นครู/อาจารย์

Phom Keoy bpen kroo /ar jan

'volunteer' -อาสาสมัคร (ar sar sa mak)

Phom Keoy pen kroo /ar jan ar sar sa mak

i was a 'volunteer' teacher
