J-Town in Si Racha

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

Will be visiting Bangkok in November and was wondering what Japan town in Si Racha was like.

My friends love karaoke so will most likely visit one of those while we're there.

Can anyone tell me the prices of karaoke in Si Racha?

What is included etc?

What's with all the Japanese snack stores? Are these fronts for other activities?

Also is the sashimi/sushi safe to eat there? I'm a bit worried about raw anything in Thailand.

Thanks in advance.

The Japan section of Si Racha is quite interesting and makes for a nice change from the ambiance of Pattaya. The main problem is that most if not all of the Japan-orientated entertainment establishments in Si Racha are for Japanese only, and they just wont let Gaijin past the front door.

You should have no trouble getting into the restaurants, but prices tend to be surprisingly high.

Thank you.. what do you consider high?

Let's say we get past the front door.. what are the prices like in these places?

Well, certainly not as much as they would be in Japan but more than they generally are in Pattaya. Maybe the quality of the ingredients is higher there to account for it.

Either way, you aren't really going to need a bank loan.
