Any problems with mail delivery

Featured Replies

I mailed, and later had people mail things to me. Probably 8 envelopes to date. The one item that disappeared between US and Northern Thailand was in a bright red envelope and had a twenty dollar bill In it. Is there a money sniffer somewhere or was the red envelope politically incorrect? Big coincidence otherwise.

I have limited experience of receiving mail here (books from Amazon etc), but never any problem.

As for sending mail to the US via EMS, I have to say Thailand Post hold up their end of the deal a lot more reliably than the United States Postal Service, responsible for about 5% of our US delivery being problematic - exceptionally long delivery times, or articles being sent back as undeliverable (when the address is verified), etc etc.

Package appeared in my mailbox today, 27 days after leaving California. No duty on declared value + postage of about $30. Notably, not a single Thai postage mark on the package, nothing stamped or printed or stuck on at all.

never had a proplem with parcel delivery, from uk,but have proplem with customs if value of goods over 1000bht.
