Visa Possibilities

Featured Replies

Hi,

My thai gf is intending to live with me in the UK. We know each other for about 3 years now and i

have been visiting her in Thailand on a regular basis. She is working as a secretary in Thailand

and now she is planning to live together with me in the UK and settle down here.

Could you please advise me the possibilities ie sort of visas there are if she wants to live and work in the UK without getting married to me.

Thx

Wil

Hi Will,

The options haven't changed since you last posed the question in this thread.

If you've any further questions on a specific visa, then by all means post them.

Cheers,

Scouse.

Hi scouse,

You mentioned about an unmaried partner visa, but i don't think it does not apply to me as we have not living together for at least two years. We only have been dating for 3 years.

So am i right in saying that the only option is to get married to her and apply for a fiance/spouse visa.

Thx

I wouldn't wish to be seen to be encouraging you to marry when that is not what you currently desire, but if you want your girlfriend to live and work in the UK, marriage would appear to be the only option.

Scouse.
