BlimeyCharlie Posted July 21, 2006 Posted July 21, 2006 Hello. I have a Classic Mni Cooper S which is based on the Monte-carlo Rally winning car driven by Paddy Hopkirk in 1964. The number Plate reads 1964. I was considering selling it in the UK as i have left with my parents as i am now in Bangkok. I have noticed there is a keen Mini following over here and they seem to be very expensive in comparison to the UK. Can anyone tell me if it would be worth the hassle to bring it to Thailand taking the costs into consideration to perhaps sell it here. I might even keep it, im not sure. Is it worth taking the risk baring in mind it took 2 years to restore and around £6,000. How would customs value and tax a classic car? Any suggestions most appreciated. The car can been seen here if anyone is interested. www.papap.co.uk
Moonfruit Posted July 21, 2006 Posted July 21, 2006 I would rather have my teeth pulled than try to impolrt a car here. So a search, its been done to death really.
