Advice For Freelance Thai Language Teacher

I have a Thai friend who is a certified teacher by (M.O.E) and has been teaching thai for some years. She would like to start a freelance business (teach at your place). I would like to know how, or if she could advertise here, and suggestions on other places to advertise would be nice.

I have not posted much information regarding her business because, as a member of many forums I know that advertising is not allowed to be posted in threads.

As with any business, good ad space and exposure costs money, so she will probably have to be willing to invest a bit if she wants to strike it big.

Newspapers directed at non-Thais, posters on billboards where foreigners tend to congregate... etc.

The other method, which takes longer but is cheaper, is word of mouth. Secure customers, make sure they are satisfied and by free will promote your business. Using surveys at the end of a course will let you know what areas need to be improved.

I would say move to Surrey or Bristol, definatly work there.
