Hi can somebody tell me if there is a timetable for bus from KK to kalasin and where is the KK bus station

There's plenty of buses between KK and Kalasin. The one I normally catch is the KK - Mukdaharn bus which stops in Kalasin.

I'll get back with the times.

There is a A/C bus terminal and a non A/C bus terminal.

I'll leave those more familiar with KK to give directions.

Both bus stations are marked with a little blue bus icon.

The one further north is the non air bus station, a ticket to Kalasin will cost about 50 baht.

The other one is the air bus station and will set you back a whopping 85 baht

Ok... as far as the wife remembers..

The KK - MUK bus goes from the A/C bus terminal hourly and costs approx bt45 per person (may have gone up)

First bus is around 5am and the last bus 7pm

Like I said.. it's as remembered, so could be slightly inaccurate.

Once in Khon Kaen, say arriving on the bus from Kalasin, what's the best way to get to the airport (KKC)? Are there taxis? ( I usually fly to KKC then get picked up by friends for the trip to Kalasin; last week, for the first time, I took the VIP bus from Bangkok to Kalasin (return) which was OK.
