The amount of evidence left behind would have meant a speedy,correct outcome. I dunno. I used to idolize Dr. Porntip, and she apparently did a great deal to drag the police and courts into the 20th century, especially in getting them to make use of forensic science. They convicted the man selling the GT200 and sentenced him to 10 years for selling a device that was 100% fraudulent.
